Environmental Specialist

Location: Great River

Responsible for managing activities related to the facility’s environmental permits, programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Assesses compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations and acts as an advisor to internal customers. Solves complex problems and seeks guidance for highly complex problems. Establishes programs and controls for a sustainable compliance program. Completes regulatory reports and represents the operation’s regulatory compliance program with regulators.

Training Coordinator Responsibilities

• Client Training Coordination:
  Oversee and manage all client training schedules, ensuring timely communication and alignment with client needs. Maintain a master calendar for all training events and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Collaboration with Regional Supervisors:
  Work closely with Regional Supervisors to coordinate training sessions and Tabletop Exercises (TTX). Ensure all logistical details, including venue arrangements and resource allocation, are finalized well in advance.
• After-Action Reports (AAR):
  Compile comprehensive AARs following each training or exercise. Include key observations, lessons learned, and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Situation Manuals Development:
  Create and update detailed Situation Manuals tailored to each client’s operational requirements. Ensure manuals comply with regulatory standards and incorporate best practices.
• Pre-Planning Meetings:
  Schedule and facilitate 5–7 pre-planning meetings per client to review objectives, timelines, and resource needs. Document meeting outcomes and distribute action items to clients.
• ICS Forms Management:
  Print and ship Incident Command System (ICS) forms to designated training locations. Verify accuracy and completeness of all forms prior to dispatch.
• Project Documentation:
  Prepare fact sheets detailing case numbers, project identifiers, and purchase order numbers for internal tracking and client reference.
• Training

ICS Training & Certification / BSEE regulatory awareness / Hazwoper Certification

Maritime knowledge is a plus.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $74,500.00 to $
* which reflects the minimum wage in multiple jurisdictions. The actual range will depend on the locality in which you are hired.
