Psycho Genics is a preclinical CRO with expertise in central nervous system (CNS) and orphan disorders. Our mission is to provide the best validated disease models and comprehensive preclinical capabilities to help companies discover the next generation of treatments for severely disabling CNS and orphan disorders and reduce the attrition rate in clinical development. We are known for our cutting‑edge translational approach to research, our customized solutions, the breadth, and quality of our work, as well as for our ability to identify statistically relevant phenotypic changes that help our clients quantify the efficacy of their treatments before they move into the clinic.
With an extensive portfolio of highly predictive disease models and unparalleled experience performing studies for biopharmaceutical companies of all sizes, we enable clients to deliver much needed superior clinical candidates to patients.
We are hiring for a Research Associate to join the Behavioral Pharmacology/Smart Cube team at Psycho Genics.
Smart Cube is an automated testing platform that presents a sequence of challenges to a mouse through its customized hardware and it incorporates computer vision and AI to process and analyze massive temporal and vectoral datasets (more than half a million data points per mouse per session). The Smart Cube platform uses propriety bioinformatics and probability causal inference algorithms to detect and assess the potential of compounds to treat psychiatric disorders in an unbiased way by comparing their complex behavioral profiles with those from a proprietary reference database at the drug class and subclass level.
The Smart Cube team works closely with several groups within the company to advance early‑stage drug discovery. As a Research Associate, you'll have the opportunity to gain broad experience in behavioral pharmacology research and contribute to the advancement of novel compounds that aim to treat a variety of psychiatric disorders. Within the Smart Cube team, we are driven by problem solving, innovation, and growth opportunities not only for ourselves but also for our clients, research partners, and ultimately the patients our work strives to impact.
This is an entry‑level position where training will be provided.
