Overview
The Regional Sales Manager will have sales responsibility for all products, customers and capabilities as assigned. The primary responsibility will be to develop customer relationships by coordinating product opportunities with new and existing customers.
Responsibilities- Sells the company s products in an assigned territory.
- Monitors existing accounts and regularly communicates with primary contacts for the account.
- Works to establish new accounts in the territory.
- Works toward increasing sales growth in the territory at an established rate determined by Sales and Marketing Manager.
- Assists with the coordination of sales efforts for other territories and sales representatives.
- Manages a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
- Develops positive relationships with clients.
- Acts as the point of contact and handle customers individual needs.
- Generates new business using existing and potential customer networks.
- Resolves conflicts and provides solutions to customers in a timely manner.
- Works closely with various other departments.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships with customers.

- Excellent management and leadership skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and complete work while traveling.
- Thorough knowledge of territory, market, and customers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

- Mechanical Aptitude and desire to learn (Engineering background preferred).
- Exceptional interpersonal communication, analytical skills and creative approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team oriented environment.
- Strong budgeting skills.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long term success.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Must be goal oriented and exhibit a relentless approach in meeting/exceeding sales goals.
- Must demonstrate a strong mechanical/analytical aptitude and have a strong engineering background.
- Direct experience selling to an OEM environment is a plus.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, with preference to Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration.
- 5 years (minimum in Industrial/OEM sales) experience with demonstrated achievements in the appliance and/or medical industries.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Overnight travel will vary but is estimated to be 25% on average depending on the opportunities in product development and the location of the various customers.
- Valid driver s license and no major driving violations.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Pay rate: $50-$60K per year
