YOUR ROLE

As Wholesale Manager, you will drive growth, operational excellence, and strategic account development across Military, TV channels, Independent partners, and additional wholesale accounts. You are a proactive, strategic leader with strong business acumen and a passion for building sustainable sales growth.

You will partner closely with buyers, store leaders, internal cross-functional teams, and the Sr. Manager, Wholesale to champion your accounts and ensure alignment with commercial goals and brand standards. This role requires a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable executing tactically in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

PROFILE
  • Strategic, commercially minded, and highly organized
  • 5+ years of proven success in wholesale account development within beauty, skincare, cosmetics, or related consumer product categories
  • Strong sales acumen with the ability to analyze performance, forecast needs, and develop action plans
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Skilled in building strong relationships with buyers and cross-functional partners
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with agile, detail-oriented execution
  • High integrity, resilient, and comfortable operating within financial and operational frameworks
  • Entrepreneurial and customer-oriented with a collaborative approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Passion for the beauty industry; ambassador of the L’Occitane brand values
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategic Account Management & Partnerships
    • Partner with the Sr. Manager to oversee and grow the wholesale portfolio across Sell-In and Sell-Out.
    • Primary focus:
      Military, TV Channels, and Independents (BFSG)
    • Secondary support:
      Nordstrom, Ulta, Nordstrom Rack, Anthropologie
  • Serve as the lead liaison for buyers, communicating assortment updates, allocations, marketing plans, and data-driven sales recommendations.
  • Ensure monthly Sell-In and Sell-Out targets are consistently achieved.
  • Act as a champion for assigned accounts, ensuring strong alignment between internal teams and external partners.
  • Marketing Planning & Execution
    • Support the Sr. Manager in building comprehensive marketing plans and overseeing flawless execution.
    • Facilitate sampling initiatives, including asset requests and order submission.
    • Track and analyze marketing ROI to inform future investment strategies.
  • Sales Analysis & Business Intelligence
    • Manage weekly sales reporting across all account portals; analyze trends and highlight opportunities (e.g., top/bottom SKUs, key markets).
    • Monitor inventory levels and maintain a healthy Weeks of Supply (WOS); identify growth opportunities through improved forecasting.
    • Lead weekly business review meetings with the Sr. Manager to align on wins, obstacles, and action plans.
  • Business Operations
    • Ensure accurate and timely completion of retailer intake forms, including new SKU setups, kits, and sampling/marketing program details.
    • Partner with Customer Care to track order timelines and ensure 100% accuracy.
    • Provide flexible support for evolving business needs and special projects.
  • All other duties or projects as assigned
PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • Monday–Friday availability
  • Flexible schedule as needed to support business priorities
  • Travel required to the New York office and wholesale points of sale across North America

The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 - $95,000 (based on skills, experience and with differentials applied if outside of NYC).
