What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Lead and manage the overarching strategy and execution for partnerships with major cloud providers, including AWS
  • Align cross-functional leaders to achieve desired impacts for the employer and its customers
  • Develop and execute a global partnership strategy to meet revenue and consumption targets
  • Drive sales opportunity generation, pipeline management, and deal closure with partners
  • Maintain and report on an accurate partner sales forecast with quantified goals for revenue metrics
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in direct and/or channel sales with cloud providers, specifically AWS
  • Deep knowledge of competitive cloud business models, marketplace, operations, and partner programs
  • Proven success in building multi-year, multi-dimensional business plans between companies
  • Demonstrated success in driving go-to-market strategies and sales/revenue impact
  • BA/BS degree required; technical competence strongly preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with Open Source, Data, and/or Analytics products
  • Ability to mentor sales representatives in collaboration and best practices
  • Understanding of the current Data and AI ecosystem landscape and software business
  • Ability to lead teams through influence rather than direct management
