Technical Sales Representative

The Technical Sales Representative is a field-based position responsible for supporting Bake’n Joy Foods’ customers, independent distributors, and brokers across assigned territories in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. This role acts as a consultant, providing hands‑on training on product usage and best baking practices to ensure top-quality results. Additionally, this position supports new store openings, coordinates grand openings, and troubleshoots product quality issues.

The Technical Sales Representative will collaborate with Sales and related departments to maintain high customer satisfaction. This role requires flexibility, including working evenings, weekends, and overnight travel.

Territory Management
:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, occasionally providing support in other divisions as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and understanding of products.
• Support new store openings by providing in-store training and technical support.

Customer Training & Technical Support
:

• Train retail bakeshop associates and customers on the proper use of Bake’n Joy products.
• Demonstrate product applications and share best practices with sales teams, brokers, and customers.
• Act as the go‑to resource for troubleshooting product use and handling issues.

Data & Market Analysis
:

• Gather and analyze market and customer data to identify trends, potential sales opportunities, and competition insights.
• Provide regular reports and feedback to the sales and management teams.
• Merchandise products in-store and ensure proper inventory management.
• Assist with customer events, food shows, trade shows, and store promotions.
• Develop new ways to utilize and promote Bake’n Joy products.

Quality Assurance & Issue Resolution

• Manage quality assurance complaints and resolutions, working closely with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns.
