Join ASSA ABLOY DSS, the global leader in door opening solutions. We help secure K-12 schools, universities, hospitals, and commercial buildings with advanced life-safety and access control systems.
We’re seeking a driven Field Sales Engineer to promote and support our electro‑mechanical (EM) and electronic access control (EAC) solutions, including WiFi locks, Aperio wireless products, PoE locks, and our Accentra platform.
What You’ll Do:- Assist in driving demand for ASSA ABLOY EAC solutions in K-12, healthcare, and university markets
- Build and certify relationships with access control integrators
- Train integrators, end users, and influencers on system deployment and use
- Support test beds, trial installs, and live EAC system integrations
- Collaborate with territory team on pipeline, site walks, and post-install support
- Represent DSS at pre-install meetings and conduct site surveys
- Become the territory's go-to expert on EAC products and installations
- 2+ years of field sales experience in EM or EAC systems
- Strong technical aptitude (mechanical/electrical/IT)
- Confident presenter and trainer across departments (IT, Security, Facilities, C-suite)
- Proactive, organized, and comfortable in a team-selling model
- Able to lift 50 lbs. of demo gear and travel across the territory
