PURPOSE:
The Regional Sales Manager is a hands on, field first sales leader focused on selling, opening accounts, and driving depletions on the East Coast. This is a high autonomy, field-based role with a strong expectation of being in the market every day. The role requires deep on the street execution, strong distributor management, and the ability to leverage National and Regional Account relationships while ensuring flawless, measurable local execution.
This is not a desk role. Success is measured by revenue, depletions, new accounts, and execution quality, with clear KPIs and direct accountability for results.
- Actively sell Cipriani Drinks and Cipriani Food across the East Coast, personally calling on accounts and leading from the front
- Open new on premise and off premise accounts, from initial pitch through first order and repeat placements
- Drive sell-in, sell-through, and depletions, with a focus on velocity, not just placement
- Conduct tastings, trainings, menu placements, and market activations, designed to convert listings into sustained volume
- Be physically present in the market 4–5 days per week in a fast-paced, field intensive environment
- Work side by side with distributor sales teams, earning mindshare through credibility and consistent market presence
- Drive accountability on distribution, pricing, visibility, and execution, influencing without direct authority
- Identify gaps and correct execution issues quickly, in real time and on the street
- Ensure agreed priorities are implemented in the market, measured through execution quality and depletion results
- Leverage existing National and Regional Account relationships to accelerate local market wins
- Support National Account programs at the local market level, ensuring corporate agreements translate into real placements and volume
- Ensure national listings translate into real placements and volume, not just paper wins
- Act as the bridge between corporate agreements and street execution, balancing national priorities with local market realities
- Sell Cipriani Drinks and Cipriani Food together whenever possible, maximizing total account value
- Maximize brand presence across restaurants, hotels, hospitality groups, and premium retail, positioning Cipriani as a unified luxury brand
- Present one unified brand to the market, with consistent standards of execution
- Track sales performance, depletions, and execution KPIs, with disciplined follow through
- Provide accurate forecasts and market feedback, grounded in real time field insight
- Support regional and national commercial initiatives, while maintaining ownership of territory level results

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- 5+ years of field sales experience in beverage, food, wine & spirits, or premium CPG
- Proven track record of opening accounts and driving depletions in competitive premium environments
- Strong East Coast distributor and on premise network
- Experience working with National or Regional Accounts
- Hunter mentality with a strong execution focus and comfort being measured on results
- Ability to sell independently and close business with minimal day to day oversight
- Strong relationship building and communication skills across distributor, operator, and corporate stakeholders
- Results driven, accountable, and highly organized in a high autonomy role
- Willingness to travel extensively within the East Coast
- Comfortable working in a dual portfolio environment (Food + Drinks)
- Premium or luxury brand experience preferred
- Prefer office based or purely strategic roles
- Do not enjoy direct selling and field execution
- Are uncomfortable being measured on sales results
