Role based in the Northeast portion of the country with preference in the New York/New Jersey metro area.
Primary PurposeAs a key member of the Sales Organization, this position is responsible for development and implementation of business plan to meet the company’s sustainable profitable sales growth in all product categories through the effective management of the territory, driving brand standards and sales activities, with key accounts and sales agencies. This position will require strategic and tactical thinking that effectively grows share of wallet across all product categories for the Duravit Brand.
PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities
- Drive selling activities of the brand with Wholesale Customers, Architects, Designers, General Contractors and Developers to generate sales to meet growth objectives.
- Optimize and streamline Duravit Rep structure in designated territory.
- Develop, lead, and manage regional wholesale customer strategy and execution, in collaboration with sales agencies and direct staff.
- Develop customer service growth plans and lead customer to ensure that key account plans are met.
- Coordinate development and training of showroom and secondary accounts to generate pull thru sales at the distribution level.
- Proactively seek out specification opportunities for project and builder opportunities.
- Collaborate with Trade and Key Accounts Sales Leaders and teams to share business plans and ensure market demands are identified and met.
- Liaise with marketing and product development to identify trends, marketing intelligence and new product opportunities
- Required 3-5 years sales experience.
- Building Products and/or Plumbing experience preferred.
- Leadership and Management mindset with strong leadership, strategic, analytical, business, planning, problem-solving and technical ability
- Demonstrated competence in account development, consultative selling, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to grow business organically
- Highly developed relationship building skills, ability to build credibility and influence within and outside the projects Team
- Ability to effectively communicate orally or in written form with internal and external customers.
- Basic plumbing knowledge an asset but not necessary
- Aptitude for utilizing emerging technologies and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and SAP / CRM systems.
