The Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction, and leading account initiatives. Working closely with internal teams, including Creator Services, you’ll deliver projects on time and within budget while spotting new growth opportunities. You will be the client’s primary point of contact, ensuring smooth delivery, supporting pitch efforts, and contributing to account expansion strategies.
The role requires a strategic mindset, commercial acumen, and a client‑first approach balancing confident leadership with a personal touch.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, leading regular check‑ins and managing satisfaction.
- Support Account Directors and Group Account Directors in executing account growth plans.
- Collaborate with Creator Services to ensure timelines, stock availability, and review periods are met.
- Oversee proposals, status reports, pitches, and Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring timely sign‑off and invoicing.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and feed insights back to the team.
- Protect account profitability by monitoring project margins, hours, and resource allocation.
- Lead initiatives for awards, PR opportunities, and external promotions with relevant teams.
Maintain clear, structured, and transparent communication with clients to manage expectations effectively.
Build strong, long‑term relationships through consistent and proactive engagement.
Monitor and enhance client satisfaction through regular check‑ins and bi‑annual surveys.
Client Business UnderstandingDevelop and maintain deep knowledge of client industries, competitors, and market trends.
Use data‑driven insights to provide strategic recommendations that improve campaign performance.
Act as a trusted advisor, offering informed perspectives on industry shifts and opportunities.
Represent client interests within the agency while balancing business and creative needs.
Act as a key link between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
Share client insights across teams to drive informed, strategic decision‑making.
Client Retention & GrowthMaintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure contract renewals and long‑term partnerships.
Identify opportunities for account growth and actively contribute to expansion strategies.
Work closely with leadership to execute growth plans that align with client needs.
Critical Thinking & Problem‑SolvingProvide strategic oversight on projects, ensuring alignment with client goals.
Identify challenges early and proactively offer solutions to improve outcomes.
Continuously refine and optimise client strategies for better results.
Presentation & Communication AbilityDeliver clear, engaging, and well‑structured client presentations.
Communicate ideas persuasively to instil confidence and build client trust.
Tailor messaging to different audiences, ensuring clarity and impact.

- 4+ years of account management experience, ideally in a creative or marketing agency.
- Proven ability to manage large‑brand accounts and drive revenue growth.
- Strong pitch leadership and internal coordination skills.
- Commercial acumen with budget oversight and margin protection experience.
- Strong relationship management skills for long‑term client retention.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Beauty industry experience (desirable but not essential).
