Position: Area Sales Manager - USA (New York)

The Area Sales Manager (
State of New York
) is responsible for driving sales growth within the assigned territory by developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and leading the sales team. The role involves market research, customer relationship management, revenue generation, and ensuring high levels of product knowledge and customer satisfaction within the powder coating industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within industrial, architectural, automotive, general manufacturing and other sectors.
  • Expand the customer base and increase market share in the assigned territory.
  • Develop sales programs to maximize revenue from existing and target accounts.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and applicators.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand needs and provide technical and commercial support.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through consistent service and follow-ups.
  • Collect customer feedback and provide insights to management for product improvement.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and industry trends in powder coating.
  • Analyze sales data, customer trends, and competitor performance.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and periodic performance reports.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and profitability targets.
  • Monitor KPIs including revenue growth, margin performance, and customer acquisition.
  • Effectively manage pricing, credit control, and collections.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in powder coating, chemicals , or industrial coatings .
  • Strong knowledge of powder coating applications and industrial markets.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and market research skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
