Account Manager (New York Metro Area)
Power Pak is growing and we have 1 additional sales position to fill in the New York Metro Area.
PayFirst year on target total compensation is $120,000 with no cap ($70,000 base).
Position OverviewThe role requires two years of prior B2B sales success selling commodities into a highly competitive market. Ideal candidates thrive selling commodities against well‑known, trusted, and embedded brands. You are a sales performer with a proven track record of hunting and developing new business, an optimistic outlook, and strong consultative selling skills. You excel at cold‑calling, reaching decision makers, value‑selling, handling objections, and setting high success goals.
You are a self‑starter with a strong sense of urgency, able to work independently alongside a small team in a satellite location, and adaptable to new technology.
You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, enjoy an inside sales role focused on growing existing accounts, and are comfortable being held accountable for key performance indicators.
Preferred Qualifications- Prior success selling industrial or construction supplies to construction companies (helpful but not required).
- Familiarity with Net Suite ERP (helpful but not required).
Work location:
Congers, NY office, 5 days a week.
