The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Director of New Business Development to help drive the next phase of growth for one of NYC’s most historic and versatile venues.

This is a high-impact, front-line revenue role for a strategic seller who loves building relationships, opening new markets, and closing meaningful deals. You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and turning them into long-term partnerships.

What You’ll Do
  • Own and drive new business development across key target markets
  • Prospect, pitch, and close new revenue-generating clients
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with corporate, entertainment, and production partners
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through contract execution
  • Negotiate deals and maximize revenue opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans aligned with company objectives
  • Represent Manhattan Center at industry events, site visits, and networking opportunities
Who You Are
  • Proven closer with experience in new business development and lead generation
  • Strong background in contract negotiation and strategic selling
  • Track record of building and maintaining high-value client relationships
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset
  • Confident communicator and persuasive presenter
  • Self-motivated, organized, and growth-oriented
  • Experience in events, entertainment, hospitality, or live production strongly preferred
