Location: New York

We are seeking a high-performing Account Director to drive new business acquisition and expand strategic relationships with global enterprise clients. The ideal candidate has proven experience selling complex, multi‑tower managed network and security solutions on a global scale, ideally with familiarity selling similar services from global providers that compete with GTT.

This is a quota‑carrying role focused on high-value transformation opportunities across network modernisation, cloud connectivity, security, and global managed services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and grow a portfolio of global enterprise clients, driving multi‑million pound revenue targets.
  • Generate new opportunities through proactive prospecting, account mapping, and utilisation of industry networks.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from qualification to close, including solution design, commercial negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Position GTT’s global managed service offerings including:
  • Complex managed services and solutions including professional services
  • SASE architecture & security services
  • Managed firewall, SOC, MDR/XDR
  • Cloud networking and application performance services
  • Work collaboratively with Solutions Engineering to define complex, multi‑region designs that meet customer transformation goals.
  • Develop and maintain C-level relationships across IT, security, and procurement.
  • Build multi-year account strategies focused on network modernisation, cloud adoption, and security transformation.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and ensure long-term account retention through value creation.
Internal Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Product, Service Delivery, and Operations to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Provide market feedback to influence go‑to‑market strategy, competitive positioning, and service evolution.
