Role DescriptionWe are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Sales Specialist based in New York City to expand our portfolio of local merchant partners. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in Business Development or Marketing within the digital food-service or third-party logistics industry and possesses a strong existing network of local restaurant and business owners.
Primary Responsibilities- Merchant Acquisition:
Proactively identify and acquire new restaurant and local business partners across NYC. - Relationship Management:
Leverage existing connections and build new, long-term relationships with business owners to ensure high retention. - Strategic Pitching:
Prepare and deliver professional presentations that demonstrate how our digital marketing solutions can increase client ROI. - Sales Lifecycle Management:
Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing. - Market Insight:
Stay updated on NYC dining and retail trends to provide tailored marketing solutions for clients.
- Industry
Experience:
Minimum 1+ years of experience in Food & Beverage marketing or sales. Direct experience working within leading Asian food delivery ecosystems or specialized third-party restaurant service platforms is highly preferred. - Bilingual in English & Chinese(preferred).
- Local Network: A strong, pre-existing network of local NYC restaurant owners and merchants.
- Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual proficiency (English and Mandarin) is a significant plus. - Social Media Savvy:
Deep understanding of platforms like Instagram, Tik Tok, and Rednote (Xiaohongshu). - Mindset:
Creative, proactive, and self-motivated with a strong "closer" mentality.
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (full-time).
- Sales or Business Development: 1+ years (Preferable).
- Merchant Acquisition:
Proven experience in onboarding local businesses or restaurant partners.
