Role Description

We are seeking a full‑time SMB Account Executive to join our team in Tompkins County, NY, in an on‑site role. In this position, you will manage and grow small to medium‑sized business accounts. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, creating customized solutions for their transit data needs, and meeting sales and revenue goals.

You will collaborate with internal teams to improve client satisfaction and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications
  • Strong sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and client relationship management
  • Keen understanding of account management, negotiation, and deal‑closing strategies
  • Ability to identify client needs and develop tailored solutions to address those challenges
  • Effective communication and presentation skills for engaging with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools
  • Previous experience in B2B sales or in the transit industry is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
