About the Regional Sales Director Role:
The Northeast Regional Sales Director will be responsible for building sales by developing lasting relationships in all or part of a multi-state region of NY, NJ, CT, MD, DC, and DE. The focus will be on building strong distribution in off-prem retail locations in these markets with a further focus on the top bourbon selling accounts. This position will be responsible for managing all sales and marketing activity in the region including tasting events and festivals.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Grow our partnerships with our distributors and key retail trade accounts in the markets.
- Lead the development of 15 STARS brand awareness within the market.
- Grow the business through a targeted distribution approach.
- Inspire, influence, and manage sales execution with our distributor partners.
- Regularly analyze our sales effectiveness and recommend improvements where appropriate.
- Program and carry out effective sales calls individually and develop strong relationships with key accounts across the territory.
- Execute educational seminars and events in the territory.
- Coordinate sales efforts to ensure implementation of overall strategy and marketing programs as well as sales performance.
- Ensure that proper brand standards and trade standards are achieved in the market.
- Connect with the wholesale network to coordinate and execute a broad range of activities such as product training and presentations, account calls, tastings, promotions, events.
- 5+ years business/sales experience in the alcoholic beverage industry.
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational, communication and inter-personal skills to relate cross-functionally in a fast-paced business environment.
- Strong communication ethic in relation to follow up with customers, suppliers and internal company personnel.
- Ability to draft, analyze and interpret general business reports and projections.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of distributors, retailers and consumers.
- Ability to solve practical and critical problems.
- Manage a variety of situations and conclude with a resolution.
- Skilled with Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel. VIP experience a plus.
- Must be able to travel 50 - 70% of the time. Clean driving record mandatory.
