The Senior Regional Sales Manager (SRSM) is responsible for driving retail sales growth within the assigned region by developing and executing strategic customer plans. This individual contributor role focuses on building strong relationships with key retail accounts, managing trade investments, and ensuring alignment between company objectives and customer strategies. The SRSM acts as the primary liaison between internal teams (Marketing, Operations, Logistics) and external partners to deliver profitable growth and exceptional execution.

Remote in New Jersey / New York / Massachusetts
- Develop and implement annual customer business plans aligned with company objectives.
- Lead go-to-market strategies for retail accounts, including new product launches and promotional programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail customers, brokers, and distributors.
- Negotiate agreements and resolve issues to ensure smooth execution of programs.
- Achieve regional sales targets and monitor performance against forecasts.
- Provide insights on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to influence strategy.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure operational excellence and timely delivery.
- Manage broker relationships and communicate priorities effectively.
- Track budgets, promotional spend, and ROI for trade investments.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in retail sales or consumer packaged goods (CPG); coffee or beverage experience is a plus.
- Proven ability in account management, broker/distributor relations, and trade marketing.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Up to 60–70% travel within the assigned region, including regular customer visits and occasional overnight stays.
