Position: Senior Account Executive - Soft Home
Location: New York

Our client, a lifestyle wholesaler, is seeking an experienced Sales Account Executive for soft home Textiles
. This Senior Account Executive will be responsible for managing and expanding key retail relationships, with a strong focus on bulk and high-volume programs. This role is ideal for a sales professional with experience across soft home categories
—including bedding, bath, pillows, rugs, throws, and related home textile products—who excels at building long-term partnerships and driving consistent revenue growth with retailers such as TJX, Ross, Burlington, and similar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of retail accounts across mass, off-price, and value channels.
  • Drive bulk and large-volume programs, from initial opportunity through execution.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and programs to support profitability and long-term growth.
  • Build strong relationships with retail buyers, merchants, and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Identify new opportunities through market trends, account analysis, and competitive insights.
  • Partner closely with product development, sourcing, and operations teams to ensure successful launches and on-time fulfillment.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience selling home textiles or soft home products (bedding, bath, pillows, rugs, throws, etc.).
  • Experience working with high-volume, bulk, or value-driven retail accounts (off-price, mass, or specialty).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Base salary: $120,000–$150,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Commission: 1% (begins after achieving 3× base salary)
  • Group insurance included in base salary
  • 401(k) eligibility anticipated next year
