The pay range for this position is $80, base salary plus commission. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case and may be influenced by skills, qualifications, experience and location.
What you can expectAs a Medical Supply Account Manager (MSAM), you will be responsible for developing new business within untapped markets. You will be calling on organizations within your territory including Complex Rehab Centers, Spina Bifida Centers, Hospital/Hospital Systems, and Urological Specialists/Centers, selling items in our Medical Supply Division – Catheters, Incontinence, Ostomy, and Wound Care Products.
- Prospect new leads and educate them on Numotion’s mobility solutions
- Develop relationships with the decision makers of clinical accounts
- Make product recommendations to the client that best suits their needs
- Build internal relationships with Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs) within Numotion
To be successful as an MSAM you’ll need to develop strong relationships with new and existing clients through cold calling, referrals, regular follow-up, and other techniques. You should be self-motivated, able to juggle several responsibilities, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Kinesiology, Biomedical Engineering); work experience can substitute for a degree
- Minimum three (3) years in outside sales
- Background in Urology, DME, CRT, Home Health, Pharmaceutical, or Wound Care preferred
- Understanding of Medicare Documentation preferred
- Exceptional sales experience with strategic territory & account planning
- Self-starter, enthusiastic, and motivated
- Ability to create and deliver presentations with creativity and independence
- Willingness to travel by vehicle for 60% of the day across a large geographic territory
