Overview
The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building and fostering client relationships, and ensuring the effective presentation of our client’s products to meet or exceed sales forecasts and goals. Develop and act on a business plan identifying opportunities for growth and helping formulate sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals. Grow the business through the education of current and new referral sources.
Develop and act on a business plan to grow the referral customer base and support sales objectives.
- Plan and organize activities to ensure effective coverage of territory and follow up of qualified leads
- Work cross-functionally with various business units including inside sales to validate sales leads
- Grow the business through the education of current and new referral sources
- Establish relationships and develop rapport with designated health care professionals and key partners
- Develop strategies to obtain office access and customer engagement
- Attend conventions and speaker programs
- Develop and implement a business plan to grow the referral customer base and formulate sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred
- 2+ years' pharmaceutical sales experience
- Dermatology and/or Specialty Sales experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work nights and weekends to cover events
- Documented, proven track record of success
- Self-motivated with strong performance orientation; expert selling skills including customer engagement and relationship building
- Referral-based sales experience preferred but not required
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $105k - $120k. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skills, and proficiency for the role. Some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
