Dealer Account Manager

Our Dealer Account Managers help dealer partners sell more cars and trucks by financing more customers. This dynamic position focuses on educating, training, and acquiring new leads. Managers consult on all sales activities and account development within their assigned area, ensuring consistent product and service delivery.

What will you do as our Dealer Account Manager?
  • Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate products and services to all levels of management within independent and franchise dealerships.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact all assigned accounts.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity.
  • Develop, maintain, and grow current and potential dealer partners.
  • Communicate via phone and in‑person visits to train on current programs and fast‑funding requirements.
  • Provide solutions, restructure vehicle loans for approval in a profitable manner.
  • Assist dealers in preparing sales contracts with proper verification documentation.
  • Maintain sales materials and keep current on financial product knowledge.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in automotive, finance, and sales (required).
  • 1–2 years of proven sales success.
  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
  • Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
  • Goal‑oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement.
  • Ability to communicate and work amicably with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge/experience with Dealer Track, Route One, or CUDL beneficial.
  • Previous outside sales experience preferred.
  • Significant local travel; valid state driver's license required.
Benefits

Pay Plan

  • Self‑determined, performance‑based compensation package.
  • First year: guaranteed minimum income starting at $5,000 monthly + commissions, thereafter $1,000 monthly base.
  • Average earnings after 1 year: $160,000; top 25%: $245,000; top 50%: $305,000.
  • Monthly vehicle mileage reimbursement average $450.
  • No commission limits.
