TasksThe role of Brand Partnerships Manager is integral to the growth and success of our commercial operations. Reporting to the Head of Brand Partnerships, the role is focused on driving our business forward by retaining and growing our partnerships with key enterprise brands.
This is a hybrid role, where you will be required to work from our New York office for a minimum of 2 days per week.
The successful candidate will be a go-getter with significant experience in account management & business development. You might have worked in a field closely aligned to our key customers or in a discipline that mirrors what we do for our customers, but for sure, you’ll have experience managing multi-brand portfolios and mid-size to enterprise accounts. You will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to retain and grow a book of business.
You should have a keen sense of market trends (within both the tech and beauty or CPG industries) that will help you develop, implement and execute a strong strategy for the retention and growth of beauty/CPG brands within your territory. You will have enhanced multitasking abilities, strong negotiation skills and a laser focus on “closing the deal”.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the continued growth of our company and will involve:
- Focus on the retention and growth of key brand relationships in beauty and CPG in North America
- Maintain and accurately report on the sales pipeline, including the likelihood of closing deals, every quarter
- Develop senior-level relationships across the industry, collaborating with brand partners to understand their strategic objectives and ensure we are delivering value to each account
- Develop an account planning strategy that defines the structure and opportunities for growth within each account.
- Develop annualized sampling strategies alongside our largest partners to solidify SoPost as a critical component of their marketing plan
- Deliver on agreed sales objectives and revenue targets
- Stay up-to-date on the product roadmap and upcoming launches within SoPost, as well as the broader digital media ecosystem, to identify potential opportunities with existing brand partners
- Maintain a CRM database of key contacts and prospects
- Identify and attend industry events to network and raise SoPost’s profile within the beauty and CPG industry, where new business opportunities exist
We are looking for a self-starter who is organized and able to demonstrate during our interview process the following essential skills:
- Proven experience over 3+ years in account management within a high-volume deal, B2B sales, environment
- Experience managing relationships with enterprise portfolio businesses within the beauty or CPG industries
- A strong client database, preferably within the beauty or CPG industry and across media agencies
- Proven track record of growing accounts, meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Proven track record of building strong client relationships, both brand direct and with agencies
