Enterprise Account Executive – New York, NY

Astound is currently searching for an Enterprise Account Executive in our New York, NY office. The role focuses on outside sales to enterprise‑level commercial customers, including large business customers of internet and telephone services.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct proactive sales activities, including cold‑calling, needs assessment, proposal presentation, negotiation, and post‑sales service.
  • Secure contracts with telecommunications decision makers to achieve revenue growth and retention.
  • Manage installation projects with cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to customer requests for information, support, joint proposals, pricing, and demand sales requests.
  • Support the sales/service team to achieve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success in telecommunications and internet sales to end‑user customers, including strategic, large business, and government accounts.
  • Ability to sell to C‑level executives within an organization.
  • Experience in consultative sales techniques, customer needs analysis, and service improvement planning.
  • Technical skills related to network and transmission design and local access services.
  • Product knowledge of switched and dedicated services, and associated end‑user and carrier applications.
  • Operational understanding of telecommunications ordering, provisioning, and billing processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and decision‑making ability maintaining customer retention.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling B2B technology environments.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2–4 year college degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Base Salary & Compensation

Base salary $85,000 annually, plus bonus, benefits, and commission. Targeted commissions at full attainment: $32,400.
