About the RoleIn this role, you will grow the company’s sales function in the United States, initially focusing on small-to-medium maritime customers, with long-term responsibility for enterprise accounts. You will manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, act as a trusted advisor for customers, and work closely with the product and customer success teams to maximize revenue and adoption.
Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this is a high-impact, first US-sales hire position ideal for a proactive hunter with a proven SaaS sales track record in the maritime industry.
Responsibilities:- Drive revenue growth across the US market and achieve defined sales targets.
- Independently identify, qualify, and pursue new customer opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, presentations, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with prospects and customer executive teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring recurring revenue growth and strong adoption of the platform.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the leadership team.
- Collaborate with the product team to influence roadmap decisions based on customer feedback.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- MUST: 5+ years of experience in SaaS or software sales within the maritime industry.

Experience selling to both SMB and enterprise customers, managing long and short sales cycles. - MUST:
Experience working in fast-paced startups or high-growth environments. - Strong understanding and knowledge of the SaaS industry and subscription-based pricing.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving new business development.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, supply chain logistics, or operations - preferred.
- Understanding of Bill of Lading.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to operate independently in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Knowledge of Bills of Lading, maritime logistics, and international trade is a strong advantage.
