Commercial Account Executive – Box

Join Box, a leader in Intelligent Content Management, as a Commercial Account Executive on our Small Medium Business (SMB) team. Box fuels collaboration, secures critical content, and transforms business workflows with enterprise AI.

Why Box Needs You
As an Account Executive, you will identify new opportunities with potential clients and current customer base, prospect, conduct discovery calls and demos, negotiate deals, and close new business across all industries in the SMB segment (1–500 employees). You will research customers’ unique challenges, influence stakeholders, develop a comprehensive territory plan, and schedule in‑person visits to build strong relationships.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage the entire sales cycle: prospect, conduct discovery calls and demos, negotiate deals, and close new and existing business across all industries in the SMB segment.
  • Research customers and prospects to gain insight into specific business challenges and demonstrate how Box can add value.
  • Drive the sales process by influencing key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop a comprehensive territory plan that covers all aspects of your target market.
  • Schedule visits to meet customers face‑to‑face within your assigned territory.
Who You Are
  • 1 year experience in sales.
  • Prior closing experience required.
  • Prior experience in B2B or technology sales is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in outbound prospecting and ability to build and manage a pipeline.
  • Proven success meeting KPIs.
  • Open to learning about Box’s product, new technologies, industry, and customers’ businesses.
  • Clear examples of successfully closing deals using an established sales process.
  • Able to consistently identify growth opportunities in new territories using a proven method.
  • Previous experience building relationships and selling to executives at all levels.
