Overview
Please note this role requires regular visits to clients in New York therefore we shall not be shortlisting candidates based in other States.
We are currently seeking for an experienced Sales professional from the Trims industry based in New York. The role would suit someone that possesses a rich network with licensors and has a proven track record in handling key accounts and cutomers within the apparel trims and materials industry.
There is already client in place so the role is more about upselling, not starting from a cold desk.
Market & Strategy:
Conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis to assist in formulating the company’s annual strategic goals.
Channel Development:
Execute strategies for expanding sales channels specifically targeting brand clients.
Client Engagement & Nomination:
Initiate contact with clients, understand the standards and requirements of brand clients, and work to secure brand nomination or preferred supplier status.
Client Information Management:
Build and maintain customer development profiles and a client database; ensure a deep understanding of client needs.
Sales Growth & Client Management:
Set sales growth targets and strategies for brand clients for upcoming periods; conduct regular client visits and communication to effectively manage relationships.
- Minimum 3 years of sales or account management experience in the apparel trims or accessories industry.
- Ability to understand and stay current with apparel industry trends.
- Strong logical thinking in marketing, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently for business and participate in networking events.
