Position Overview

Awholesale company based in New York, NY is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Sales Assistant to support senior sales leadership and help drive day-to-day sales operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with executives, customers, and internal teams.

The Executive Sales Assistant will act as a key support partner to the sales team, helping manage schedules, coordinate sales activities, track orders, and ensure smooth communication across departments. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent follow-up, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct administrative and operational support to senior sales executives
  • Manage calendars, appointments, and meeting logistics for sales leadership
  • Assist with preparation for customer meetings, presentations, and line reviews
  • Track sales orders, pricing, and customer information to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Coordinate communication between sales, customer service, production, and logistics teams
  • Follow up on open action
  • orders, and customer requests
  • Help prepare sales reports, spreadsheets, and performance summaries
  • Maintain organized records of accounts, samples, approvals, and sales documentation
  • Support market appointments, showroom activity, and seasonal selling cycles as needed
  • Handle general administrative tasks to ensure the sales department runs efficiently
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Comfortable working closely with senior leadership and external clients
  • Strong follow-through and accountability
  • Previous experience in wholesale, sales support, or administrative roles preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus, but not required
