Awholesale company based in New York, NY is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Sales Assistant to support senior sales leadership and help drive day-to-day sales operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with executives, customers, and internal teams.
The Executive Sales Assistant will act as a key support partner to the sales team, helping manage schedules, coordinate sales activities, track orders, and ensure smooth communication across departments. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent follow-up, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct administrative and operational support to senior sales executives
- Manage calendars, appointments, and meeting logistics for sales leadership
- Assist with preparation for customer meetings, presentations, and line reviews
- Track sales orders, pricing, and customer information to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate communication between sales, customer service, production, and logistics teams
- Follow up on open action
- orders, and customer requests
- Help prepare sales reports, spreadsheets, and performance summaries
- Maintain organized records of accounts, samples, approvals, and sales documentation
- Support market appointments, showroom activity, and seasonal selling cycles as needed
- Handle general administrative tasks to ensure the sales department runs efficiently
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Comfortable working closely with senior leadership and external clients
- Strong follow-through and accountability
- Previous experience in wholesale, sales support, or administrative roles preferred
- Bachelor’s degree a plus, but not required
