Senior Client Partner – New York/New Jersey (Hybrid)

Position Overview:

The Senior Client Partner will drive business development activities, leveraging a dual‑focus approach that includes both hunting for new clients and farming existing accounts to increase sales, expand revenue, and foster long‑term client relationships. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, manage complex sales cycles, and work closely with internal teams to deliver IT services and digital transformation solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients.

This is a highly strategic sales role, critical to the continued growth and success of the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Business Development:
    • Identify, prospect, and secure new clients in the IT services and digital transformation space.
    • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by proactively reaching out to prospects, attending industry events, and networking with key decision‑makers.
    • Leverage industry knowledge and market insights to identify business opportunities and create compelling sales pitches tailored to client needs.
    • Own and manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
    • Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the client base.
  • Sales Farmer Responsibilities (Account Management & Client Growth):
    • Cultivate and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with existing clients at the executive level (C‑suite, VP, Director, etc.).
    • Act as the primary point of contact for existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
    • Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts, introducing new services and digital transformation solutions to further enhance value.
    • Drive the renewal process and ensure that clients are continuously engaged with the firm’s evolving offerings.
    • Work closely with delivery and project teams to ensure the smooth execution of ongoing engagements and high‑quality service delivery.
  • Solution Selling:
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business challenges and recommending appropriate IT services, solutions, and digital transformation strategies.
    • Provide leadership in the development of custom solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and business requirements.
    • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to design and present solutions that deliver measurable results.
  • Revenue and Profitability Management:
    • Own the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure, ensuring targets and quotas are consistently met.
    • Manage and track all sales opportunities and account activity using CRM tools.
    • Ensure profitable pricing, contract negotiation, and the delivery of high‑quality solutions within agreed timelines.
  • Market and Industry Expertise:
    • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and client needs.
    • Leverage knowledge of IT services, digital transformation, cloud computing, data analytics, and other relevant technologies to provide strategic guidance to clients.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
