As an Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to running demos, managing pilots, structuring deals, and closing revenue. You’re equal parts strategic and scrappy, able to speak intelligently to leaders in fintech, credit, fraud, risk, and operations.

You Likely Have
  • 2–4+ years of experience in SaaS sales, fintech, financial services, or a highly analytical GTM role.
  • A consistent track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Ability to run complex consultative sales cycles with technical buyers.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and rapidly evolving environments.
  • A proactive, self-directed mindset—you don’t wait, you create.
  • High intellectual horsepower and fast processing speed.
  • A deep desire for feedback, growth, and mastering your craft.
  • Ambition for equity, leadership, and meaningful ownership in the company you're helping build.
Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospect, qualify, demo, run trials, negotiate, and close.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline across SMB, mid-market, and/or enterprise accounts.
  • Execute outbound prospecting sequences to generate new opportunities.
  • Lead discovery conversations to uncover customer pain and align Baselayer’s solutions.
  • Partner with product and engineering to provide customer insights and influence roadmap.
  • Collaborate closely with founders and GTM leadership to refine positioning, messaging, and sales motions.
  • Represent Baselayer with professionalism, intelligence, and thought leadership in the market.

Salary Range

$95k – $145k base + commission | Equity: 0.05% – 0.15%
