Wholesale Sales Assistant
Location: New York, NY
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, Standard Business Hours
Salary: DoE
Job Description: A growing wholesale company is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail‑oriented Wholesale Sales Assistant to support the Company Owner with day‑to‑day sales and operational activities. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling multiple tasks, working with data, and communicating with customers and vendors in a fast‑paced wholesale environment.
Responsibilities- Support the Company Owner with daily account management and sales operations
- Maintain and update sales data, pricing, and customer information using Excel
- Track orders, shipments, and inventory to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment
- Follow up with customers regarding orders, pricing, and product availability
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Assist with preparing reports, invoices, and other administrative tasks as needed
- Strong Excel skills, including spreadsheets, data entry, and basic formulas
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with consistent follow‑up
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Previous experience in wholesale, sales support, or administrative roles preferred
