NY (BWNY) is seeking a driven and strategic Sales Director to lead and grow our B2B sales efforts. This person will help expand our customer base among retailers, brands, and creative partners, while strengthening relationships with existing clients. You'll sell both our stock and custom‑printed bag products—helping businesses showcase their brands through high‑quality, sustainable packaging—and play a key role in mentoring and developing junior sales talent as the team grows.

About

The Role

We're looking for a results‑oriented sales leader who loves both strategy and hands‑on selling. The Sales Director will prospect new business opportunities, nurture relationships with existing clients, and collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure seamless fulfillment and customer satisfaction. In addition to personal selling responsibilities, this person will coach, mentor, and develop junior sales representatives
, helping to establish a strong, high‑performing sales culture as BWNY continues to grow.

A Typical Day May Include
  • Reaching out to retailers, brand marketing teams, and B2B clients to pitch BagWorks

    NY’s offerings
  • Managing a growing sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closing
  • Developing outreach strategies to new market segments (hospitality, events, retailers, etc.)
  • Selling both stock and custom‑printed products, advising customers on branding and print options
  • Partnering with marketing to refine messaging, promotions, and outreach campaigns
  • Working with operations to ensure accurate lead times, pricing, and fulfillment
  • Tracking KPIs, sales performance, and forecasting revenue opportunities
  • Representing BWNY at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings
  • Mentoring and developing junior sales team members by providing training, feedback, and professional growth opportunities
Role Progression
  • Within 1 month:
    Get up to speed on BWNY’s products, pricing, and customer base
  • Within 3 months:
    Own your pipeline, with active outreach and closed deals underway
  • Within 6 months:
    Develop a scalable sales strategy and begin mentoring junior sales staff
  • Within 12 months:
    Establish measurable revenue growth, refine sales processes, and help build out a high‑performing sales team
