Location: New York

We are seeking a Sales Hunter to drive net new business in the Insurance vertical
. This role is focused on acquiring new clients and expanding Brillio’s footprint in the Life, P&C, and Specialty Insurance domains. The ideal candidate will combine strong sales acumen with deep insurance domain knowledge to position Brillio’s digital transformation services effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hunting & Acquisition: Drive net new client acquisition (80%) and growth in dormant/existing accounts (20%). Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the Insurance vertical.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for Insurance domain offerings.
    • Build and maintain a robust pipeline through lead generation, prospecting, and networking.
    • Manage end‑to‑end sales cycle: prospecting, presentations, RFI/RFP responses, negotiations, and deal closure.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Establish and nurture relationships with CxO‑level executives at target insurance firms.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, leveraging domain expertise to position Brillio’s solutions.
    • Work closely with presales, delivery, and practice teams to craft compelling proposals.
    • Partner with BFSI leadership to create IP, solutions, and thought leadership in Insurance.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Sales Expertise: 12–15+ years of experience in IT services sales, with a proven track record in hunting new business and a demonstrated success in selling Digital Transformation, Cloud, Data Analytics, and Product Engineering services.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Insurance industry (Life, P&C, Specialty), Insurtech trends, regulatory landscape, and emerging models such as embedded insurance and usage‑based insurance. Familiarity with platforms like Guidewire and Duck Creek is a plus.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to manage complex sales cycles (6–12 months) and multi‑stakeholder negotiations.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology; MBA is preferred.
