The Stock Associate supports all inventory and operational functions of the store under the direction of the Stock Lead and the Store Manager. This role is responsible for executing all back-of-house processes, including receiving transfers, processing shipments, organizing stock, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining quality control, while supporting the sales floor as needed.
The Stock Associate plays a critical role in maintaining operational excellence and ensuring the store environment is organized, efficient, and aligned with company standards.
Key Areas of Responsibilities- Execute all shipping and receiving functions, including inbound and outbound transfers.
- Process deliveries accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory integrity, including negative on-hand research and resolution.
- Support consignment tracking and management.
- Ensure accurate ticketing, tagging, and product quality control.
- Maintain highly organized stockroom standards in alignment with company expectations.
- Utilize company inventory systems and reporting tools to ensure accuracy.
- Proactively monitor stock levels and anticipate transfer or replenishment needs.
- Support supply management and operational materials.
- Participate in scheduled physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company policies, operational procedures, and loss prevention standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free stockroom and sales floor environment.
- Ensure proper handling of merchandise to prevent damage and shrink.
- Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.
- 1–3 years of experience in retail stock, operations, or inventory management (luxury retail experience preferred).
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong sense of accountability and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with inventory systems, POS platforms, and shipping software.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Professional communication skills and service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40–50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods.
- Comfort working in a stockroom environment and managing frequent merchandise movement.
