Assistant Store Manager – Coach Macy's Herald Square – Meet Coach’s mission to create beautiful, lasting fashion. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will demonstrate business acumen, deliver sales results, develop employees, and ensure operational excellence within a global luxury retail environment.

• Partner with Store Manager to set and achieve sales goals, develop strategies across all categories, and monitor performance.
• Hold the management team accountable for productivity and contribution, creating action plans for continuous development.
• Develop and execute clienteling and brand‑ambassador initiatives, including charity events, mall programs, and local associations.
• Resolve customer issues promptly, partner with Store/District Managers as needed.
• Recruit, interview, onboard and retain top talent; maintain a talent bench and develop direct reports.
• Manage daily operational tasks: payroll, HR, loss prevention, POS, technology, and store upkeep.
• Forecast and plan budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and merchandising in partnership with Store Manager.
• Develop and maintain relationships with peers and customers, building a positive, enthusiastic team culture.
• Apply Coach’s standards and policies, ensuring consistency in service, sales, and store appearance.

• 1–3 years of leadership experience in luxury retail or a comparable service environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and retail systems (labor management, inventory, sales reporting).
• Physical ability to work fast pace, maneuver the floor, lift up to 25–50 lb, and perform typical retail tasks.
• Flexible schedule with willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and peak retail events.

Base pay range: $18.50 – $38.25 per hour.
