Part-Time Key Holder—Nolita, NY

General Overview

The part-time Key Holder is a key employee responsible for maintaining excellent customer service. This role involves serving customers, accurately recording sales, and assisting with merchandising tasks such as stocking, pricing, and keeping the store organized. The Key Holder supports profitable store operations through floor supervision and is capable of handling opening and closing responsibilities. This position reports to the Store Manager.

Specific Duties / Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by understanding and responding to customer needs
• Drive sales through product knowledge and suggestive selling
• Communicate effectively with the store manager and team
• Participate in store meetings and assist with merchandising, tagging, and restocking
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized store environment
• Handle phone calls professionally and respond promptly to emails
• Assist in opening and closing the store, including processing transfer orders and RTVs

Qualifications / Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent, with relevant work experience
• Minimum 1 year retail experience
• Effective communication skills
• Proficiency in basic computer skills
• Physical ability to lift/carry/move at least 40 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, weekends, and overnights
• Ability to open and close the store and travel within the region
