We are looking for a Merchandising Associate who understands consumer preferences and market opportunities to maximize the performance of our assortment. As a Merchandising Associate, you will collaborate cross functionally during our Go-To-Market process to ensure products are attributed and launched correctly. You’ll possess the unrivaled ability to blend art with science, reading trends and shaping demand to grow our core business.
EssentialJob Functions
- Manage the new SKU launch process and ensure that products are launched on time with all required information
- Create all product names and descriptions for DTC websites
- Collaborate with the product development team to understand the features and benefits of new constructions and how those constructions fit into the broader assortment
- Provide product overview and information to Marketplace and B2B teams so products can be positioned and launched successfully
- Work with analytics teams to establish reporting and monitor sales of products once launched
- Align launch dates and product materials with Marketing to support any campaigns during product launches
- Collaborate with DTC teams to develop specialized assortments on site as needed
- Develop a product and assortment architecture that aligns products from different suppliers with similar features and constructions
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-2+ years’ experience in category management, merchandising, or buying role, preferably within the eCommerce industry
- Understanding of retail key performance indicators and strong strategy building skills
- Demonstrates curiosity and a growth mindset; supports innovation and intelligent risk-taking; and exhibits resilience in the face of setbacks
- Intrinsically self-motivated and possesses a strong work ethic
- Effective communicator that collaborates and brings people together
