Styling Assistant

Overview

Nili Lotan is seeking a Styling Assistant to support Nili Lotan and Nili's Lead Stylist on all style outs and photoshoots. This position will report to the Senior Creative Producer and will also work closely with the Wardrobe Coordinator, E-commerce and Sample Production team. The successful candidate will be a motivated and proactive professional who is detail oriented, communicative, highly organized, flexible and reliable.

They will have great follow through and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment where teamwork is key. They will be a contributing member of a creative team with the opportunity to be fully emersed in the full photoshoot process.

• Communicating with the (often) remote Lead Stylist to execute his vision for style outs and on ecommerce sets.
• Proactively meeting with Nili and the sample production team to understand the styling vision and intended product fit for each season.
• Partnering with the Wardrobe Coordinator to ensure that all samples from provided shot lists are reserved, prepped and on set for styling and shoot days.
• Maintaining brand styling standards on each project – pinning, tucking and checking fit for all products on model.
• Sourcing accessories, if needed, for shoots.
• Assisting sales team with dressing during market appointments.
• Aiding in communicating the photoshoot schedules to the sample team, wholesale team and.
• Maintaining organization of the dressing rooms, sample closet, studio space, etc.

• 4-6 years experience in the fashion space
• Experience leading more junior styling assistants on set
• Great fashion sense and knowledge of latest trends and brands
• Excellent time management; organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced
• Excels in juggling multiple projects at once and pivoting with grace
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills including Adobe Reader, Excel, Bridge, Outlook, and G Suite. Fashion GPS experience is a plus.

Salary:
While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, Nili Lotan reserves the right to pay outside of the published range. In addition, there is a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, paid time off program, disability, retirement plan and a generous employee discount and clothing allowance.
