Job OverviewAs a Counter Manager in the Kiehl’s Cosmetics Department, you will manage all aspects of a cosmetics line, coach a team of Beauty Advisors, and engage customers to enhance their beauty choices. Your leadership will help the team reach sales targets.
What You Will Do- Inspire teamwork to reach sales goals and elevate the customer experience.
- Create lasting connections with customers passionate about cosmetics, beauty, and fragrance.
- Review and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales results.
- Develop and implement business events to achieve department goals.
- Supervise proper presentation, organization, and replenishment of stock.
- Sell merchandise through effective customer service techniques to reach personal productivity goals.
- Meet and exceed your own and the company’s sales goals.
- Work well with vendors to get the best business outcomes.
- Manage vendor events and promotions, including scheduling and execution.
- Maintain compliance with all hygiene standards.
- Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive performance and engagement.
Subject Matter Expertise: Proficiency in vendor lines and beauty trends serving as a knowledgeable resource in this area.

- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing, walking, and staffing in the store or department for at least two consecutive hours.
- Frequent use of computers and handheld electronic equipment.
- Reaching and lifting, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and climbing ladder or stairs.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and move items with both hands and arms.
