We are working on a temp to perm merchandise planning role with a top fashion/apparel company in NYC. There are a few open roles covering active wear, apparel outlet and accessories. Role is full time hours in their midtown office. Looking for someone who also has a global or multi-regional experience. Also, needs to have very strong Excel skills.
Annual Salary approximately $90-100K at full time but may go higher - approximately $45-50 an hour.
Responsibilities- Seasonal planning and forecasting
- Build planning framework
- In season business analysis
- Track margin performance
- Product assortments and regional buy support
- Product opportunities
- Work cross functionally
- Sit in on buy meetings
- 3-4 years in a merchandising planning role with experience in global planning or multi-regional
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and business reporting
- Ability to synthesize data into clear insights and recommendations
- Experience in fashion, lifestyle, or consumer goods preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A global mindset with attention to regional nuance
- A balance of analytical rigor and product sensitivity
- A proactive, detail‑oriented approach to planning and execution
- A passion for consumer, product, and team collaboration
