Project Manager, Global Visual Merchandising & Store Planning
The Project Manager, Global Visual Merchandising & Store Planning plays a critical role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of global store openings, renovations, visual merchandising programs, and spatial initiatives across Alexander Wang’s retail portfolio.
This position partners closely with Global Buying, Planning, Wholesale, Marketing, Design, and regional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with brand standards and business priorities.
This role is highly cross‑functional and operationally driven, requiring bereik sterke project management discipline, exceptional organization, and the ability to translate creative direction into executable plans across multiple regions.
Responsibilities Store Planning Support- Support new store openings, renovations, and special projects from concept through execution
- Coordinate fixture packages, floor plans, and VM requirements in partnership with external vendors
- Assist in tracking project schedules, budgets, and deliverables related to store planning initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation for store layouts, fixture libraries, and spatial standards
- Manage timelines and deliverables for global VM initiatives, including seasonal rollouts and activations
- Coordinate cross‑functional inputs from Buying, Planning, Wholesale, Creative, Marketing, and regional teams to ensure alignment and execution
- Track milestones, approvals, and dependencies across multiple projects
- Support the development, organization, and distribution of global VM guidelines, decks, and toolkits
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of global showrooms and seasonal market environments
- Track project budgets, vendor costs, and PO status in partnership with leadership
- Support cost optimization initiatives through vendor coordination, timeline efficiencies, and scope tracking
- Maintain clear visibility of project resourcing, timelines, and risks
- Help maintain, build, and refine project management tools, calendars, and workflows for Global VM & Store Planning
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, clarity, and scalability across VMSP processes
- Maintain organized project archives, trackers, and reporting tools
- 3–5+ years of experience in architecture, project management, store planning, visual merchandising operations, or retail environments
- Experience working within fashion, luxury, or creative brand environments preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate clearly with creative and operational stakeholders
- Experience with managing timelines, budgets, and vendor coordination
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite:
Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Microsoft Office programs:
Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel & Word required - Ability to operate in Auto Cad or Vectorworks required
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software preferred
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and presentation skills
- Extreme agility; creatively respond to shifts in business
- Ability to balance multiple projects and shift focuses, as needed
- Ability to travel

In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the potential salary for this position is from $85,000 to $90,000, which represents a range commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills required.
