About the Team
The Hermès Meatpacking Boutique opened in 2019 and focuses on providing extraordinary service to clients as part of the New York Region. This position reports to the Operations Director and works collaboratively with the sales team and selling support teams to support the client experience in a fast‑paced, luxury environment.
About the RoleThe Inventory Control Specialist manages in‑store inventory, including receiving, ticketing, shipping, RTV, damage handling, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
Responsibilities- Maintain an accurate and organized store inventory.
- Process all incoming and outgoing shipments within the same business day.
- Check in all returns against previous day’s business.
- Print, ticket merchandise, returns, and price updates.
- Process, record, maintain, and follow up on all after‑sales service.
- Process damages and maintain inventory for damages.
- Work with Store Management to analyze business and replenish needs.
- Develop inventory strategies to support the selling process and maintain our warehouse standards daily.
- 2 years of operations experience in a luxury environment preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent multitasking and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal policies and directives.
- Experience with inventory control and asset protection.
- Proficient with internal systems and external shipping software.
- Ability to lift 0‑25 lbs. without assistance.
Hourly rate: $22.80 – $25.20 (actual rates based on location and experience).
