As a Territory Brand Ambassador for Third Channel, you’ll represent a portfolio of client brands in-store — spanning premium and contemporary fashion, athleisure, sporting, and footwear brands commonly found in leading department store environments. You’ll be the face of these brands on the sales floor, driving sell-through, elevating visual presentation, and delivering engaging customer experiences through strategic merchandising, product education, and strong in-store relationships.
This hybrid role blends hands-on, in-store execution with reporting, insights, and collaboration. You’ll directly influence how brands show up at retail while helping inform smarter merchandising and business decisions.
At Third Channel, we combine the expertise of experienced brand representatives with cloud-based retail technology. We partner with brands ranging from established fashion houses to performance-driven and lifestyle innovators, helping them gain visibility, accountability, and a competitive edge in-store.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and conduct regular visits to assigned retail locations, with a strong focus on department stores (e.g., Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Dillard’s) and specialty retail.
- Execute visual merchandising standards across fashion, athleisure, sporting, and footwear categories, ensuring presentations are aligned with brand guidelines and optimized for sell-through.
- Deliver confident, knowledgeable customer interactions, clearly communicating product features, fit, craftsmanship, and performance benefits.
- Build trusted relationships with store leadership and associates to ensure smooth execution, brand advocacy, and long-term consistency.
- Capture high-quality photos of displays and floor presentations and document each visit with accurate reporting and insights using Third Channel’s digital tools.
- Share timely feedback, opportunities, and competitive observations with internal teams and brand partners.
- Contribute to training resources and best practices that support visual merchandising excellence and in-store execution.
- Identify opportunities to enhance brand storytelling, customer experience, and overall retail performance.
- Proven experience in retail visual merchandising, brand ambassadorship, or store-level leadership, ideally within department store environments.
- Background or strong familiarity with fashion, athleisure, sporting, and/or footwear brands.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing a territory independently.
- Proficiency with mobile technology, reporting platforms, Google Suite, and MS Office.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the NYC territory.
- Flexible availability, including occasional nights and weekends (up to two weekends per month).
- Reports to the Director of Community
- Collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams and brand partners
- Competitive salary: $65,000–$75,000, based on location and experience
