Sales Executive – Beauty
Position Summary
The Sales Executive – Beauty is responsible for building and growing the company’s full‑price beauty and wellness business across major national retailers. The company holds the license for Rest & Recovery, Beauty, and Home Décor categories, including aromatherapy, beauty products, wellness accessories, and lifestyle solutions. This role will establish and expand full‑price retail partnerships—complementing the existing off‑price business—while driving sustainable, profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Full‑Price Retail Sales & Account Development
- Lead full‑price sales strategy and execution for national retailers such as Target, Walmart, and similar mass and omni‑channel accounts
- Open, manage, and grow key full‑price retail partnerships across beauty, wellness, and lifestyle categories
- Own account relationships from line review through forecasting, order execution, and post‑launch analysis
- Develop long‑term account strategies aligned with retailer objectives and brand positioning
Category & Brand Expansion
- Drive growth across Rest & Recovery, Beauty, and Homes Decoration categories, including:
- Aromatherapy and wellness solutions
- Beauty and personal care products
- Mirrors, yoga and fitness accessories
- Sound machines, hydration, and recovery products
- Partner with product development and merchandising teams to shape assortments tailored to full‑price retail environments
- Ensure product positioning, pricing architecture, and packaging meet full‑price channel expectations
Strategic Planning & Revenue Growth
- Manage and grow a $30–40M business with focus on expanding full‑price contribution
- Develop sales forecasts, annual plans, and growth strategies by account and category
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and mitigate risk
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, supply chain, and operations to ensure successful launches and on‑time execution
- Align full‑price strategy with existing off‑price business to protect brand integrity and pricing structure
- Provide retailer and consumer insights to inform innovation and go‑to‑market strategy
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7–10+ years of experience in beauty, wellness, or consumer products sales
- Proven success managing full‑price national retail accounts (e.g., Target, Walmart, mass or specialty beauty)
- Strong understanding of pricing, margin management, and full‑price retail dynamics
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
Preferred
- Experience launching or scaling licensed brands
- Background in wellness, beauty tools, or lifestyle categories
- Experience transitioning or balancing off‑price and full‑price channel strategies
Salary $100,000-$150,000 + Commission
