Job Overview

The Team Lead, Inventory supports the Assistant Manager, Inventory, combining a passion for great consumer service with inventory excellence to create a world‑class customer experience. Key responsibilities include handling customer escalations, mentoring associates, and managing omni‑channel inventory systems. The role works closely with brand and agency management and associates to maintain strong relationships, morale, and the highest consumer experience.

Compensation

Compensation Range: $28–32 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Lead and promote a helpful environment by supporting product flow from receiving to customer purchase
  • Supervise and execute operational tasks including cycle counts, replenishment, reporting, visual standards, stock flow, and stockroom organization
  • Manage omni‑channel systems including buy online and pick up in-store
  • Manage spare parts inventory and store supply inventory
  • Process receiving, shipping, transfers, chargebacks, and damaged goods
  • Mentor, train, and foster a team environment to deliver customer‑centric operational excellence
  • Supervise inventory preparation for new product launches and execute visual merchandising directives
  • Plan for changing inventory and staffing needs in collaboration with leadership
  • Meet & greet customers, assist with sales, and complete transactions when necessary
  • Act as first line for de‑escalating and resolving customer issues
  • Address and support Inventory associate questions
  • Adhere to inventory and visual merchandising standards and maintain accuracy
  • Lead stock and teams through timely completion of daily inventory tasks and ensure compliance with all retail inventory processes
  • Support floor experience and act as floor leader to ensure world‑class consumer interactions
  • Coach associates on opportunities with consumer interactions, recognize positive performance, and hold accountable for poor performance
  • Inspire and engage associates, promote passion and commitment, and develop associates for growth and promotion
  • Participate in product launches, coordinate with security and facilities, and manage scheduling to meet business needs
  • Drive compliance of procedures and policies, and ensure timely completion of required training
  • Manage MOD segments and support management tasks such as breaks, opening/closing, and attendance
Qualifications
  • 5+ years working in high‑volume retail, stockroom, shipping & receiving, or warehouse inventory
  • 1‑3 years of prior leadership experience in telecommunications or consumer service industry
  • Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with consumer electronics stores technology
  • Passion for leading edge technology and product solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication and working knowledge of G‑Suite
  • Knowledge of standard operating procedures and coaching techniques
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team, and to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams
  • Being bilingual or multilingual (English and/or Spanish) is an asset
