Brand Ambassador & Barista — NYC Flagship Retail

Thuma’s Retail and Cafe Teams are welcoming applications for our SoHo location. We are looking for talented individuals who are interested in being considered for future retail and barista positions  team embodies an inviting, elevated, confident, and friendly attitude, consistently delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

• Act as a Thuma Brand Ambassador
• Create a warm, inviting atmosphere, fostering customer relationships
• Deliver and maintain an outstanding level of customer service at all times
• Maintain the flagship's visual identity within brand guidelines
• Showcase excellent product and brand knowledge and be naturally obsessed with the details
• Work purposefully as part of a team to ensure daily objectives and goals are met

• This job requires availability to work flexible hours including weekends and occasional holidays
• This job requires the ability to work in-person at the Thuma Flagship in NYC
• A proven record in delivering excellent customer service
• Keen attention to detail
• A proactive and motivated individual with the ability to take initiative
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem solving skills
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience preferred

• Frequently moving and lifting items up to 75 lbs while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
• Work standing and walking for extended periods of time Ability to maneuver effectively around gallery floor, stock room and office
• Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing

$18 - $25 an hour

Thuma provides an estimate of the compensation for roles that may be hired as required by state regulations. Compensation may vary based on (a) location, as Thuma factors in specific location when benchmarking compensation for most roles; (b) individual candidate skills and qualifications; and (c) individual candidate experience. Additionally, Thuma leverages current market data to determine compensation, so posted compensation figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
