• Prevent theft and fraud by guests and employees
• Ensure a safe environment for guests and employees
• Conduct safety sweeps and constant monitoring of high‑risk areas
• Apprehend/recover shoplifters
• Conduct audits of all refunds, voids, line‑item voids, safety, etc.
• Assist with emergency situations
• Monitor CCTV surveillance equipment
• Collaborate with store management to identify root causes of loss and develop effective solutions
• Utilize Point of Sale exception reporting and video surveillance to identify and conduct investigations
• Audit sites to ensure inventory is processed, handled, and monitored appropriately, and document any errors or failures
• Additional asset protection duties as needed
• Conduct bag checks

• Prior experience in loss prevention or educational background in loss prevention, security, or law enforcement (preferred)
• 2-3 years retail experience (preferred)
• Detail oriented and good observational skills
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques, security systems, and CCTV monitoring
• Must be a team player, able to work with different personalities, assertive, able to work with discretion, and professional
• Basic computer literacy
• Knowledgeable on safety processes and procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Capable of lifting to 50lbs
