Job Description:

Assistant Global Merchant Who You Are:

You are a highly motivated and collaborative individual with strong communication skills and a results-driven mindset. You excel in fast-paced environments, are eager to learn, and possess a keen interest in fashion and accessories.

What You’ll Do:

Support the Global Accessories Merchandising Team: Contribute to line development and assortment strategies, ensuring alignment with brand vision and market trends.

Market and Competitor Research: Conduct in-depth research to identify and analyze emerging trends within the competitive landscape, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.

PLM System Ownership: Maintain data integrity within the Product Line Management (PLM) system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for all product-related activities.

Assortment Tools and Guides: Create and maintain offline assortment tools and guides for internal use, facilitating efficient product management and communication.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with teams across Product Development, Design, Visual Merchandising, and the Fashion Office, fostering a collaborative and informed approach to merchandising decisions.

Communication and Updates: Communicate product and assortment updates effectively and efficiently to cross-functional teams and global buying teams, ensuring transparency and timely information sharing.

Sample Management: Oversee sample management during showroom setup and market events, ensuring proper organization and presentation of product offerings.

Merchandising Calendar Management: Assist in managing the merchandising calendar, tracking key developments and market milestones, ensuring smooth execution of strategic initiatives.

You’ll Need to Have:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Merchandising, or relevant internships.
Strong computer skills, with proficient Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in the NYC office 3 days a week.
