Job Description
The Head Chef directs the culinary team’s daily activities, ensuring guest satisfaction, profitability, and a positive work environment. Reports to the Store Director and collaborates with the Area Executive Chef. Oversees the Back of House team.
- Hiring, training, scheduling, evaluations, and terminations
- Planning and executing seasonal menus with the team
- Collaborating with store leadership and corporate teams on initiatives and events
- Maintaining virtual menus and operational standards
- Managing food production, quality, and compliance
- Overseeing inventory, procurement, and cost control
- Communicating menu changes and shortages to front of house
- Handling employee and guest incidents
- Performing additional duties as needed
Qualifications
- 6+ years of chef experience, including 3+ years in management
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, safety, and sanitation
- Advanced computer skills
- Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
Job Requirements
- Availability for onsite work with flexible hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Stand/walk for up to 8 hours in a restaurant setting
- Operate commercial kitchen equipment
The annual salary is $100,000–$110,000.
