  • Classification:
    Full-Time
  • Shift: Various – must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Pay Rate:
    The pay rate for this role is $17.81–$16 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
  • Union Position:
    This position is part of the Local 6 Union which requires complete open availability. We are not able to accommodate schedule restrictions and full-time hours are not guaranteed. Hours and schedule are based on seniority and business needs and may be minimal at times until seniority is established. You must be comfortable with a schedule and hours that may vary from week to week.

As a Server at Lex Yard, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests, delivering food and beverages with impeccable attention to detail in line with the hotel’s goal of achieving Forbes 5‑Star and Michelin star aspirations. Your role is pivotal in creating an extraordinary dining experience, anticipating guests’ needs, and offering personalized service that makes them feel valued.

What

will I be doing?
  • Greet guests warmly, using their names whenever possible, and engage with them in a manner that reflects the refined standards of the restaurant.
  • Respond to guest requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring a personalized and attentive service experience.
  • Demonstrate a genuine sense of interest in guests’ needs, providing expert recommendations and creating a memorable dining experience.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and restaurant promotions to provide accurate information and enhance the guest experience.
  • Take food and beverage orders, input orders into the point‑of‑sale system, and ensure that all details are accurately captured.
  • Retrieve and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring that each order is presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or needs promptly and with a positive attitude.
  • Serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages in compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations.
  • Keep your station well‑stocked with necessary supplies to ensure a smooth service.
  • Clear and clean tables throughout the meal service, ensuring each table is prepared for the next guest with meticulous attention to detail and a seamless transition.
